DraftKings has taken on geo-location and anti-fraud solutions from GeoComply designed specifically for the daily fantasy sports (DFS) market as the industry faces mounting criticism and scrutiny over consumer protection.
Under the terms of the deal, GeoComply will employ its Solus geolocation technology for the DraftKings site providing player verification, location and eligibility.
“We are committed to the integrity of our product, which is why we are partnering with GeoComply to leverage their industry-leading geolocation compliance solution,” Paul Liberman, chief operating officer for DraftKings said.
