DraftKings, now arguably the market leader in the daily fantasy sports vertical as FanDuel struggles, appears to be prospering, reporting from Boston that it plans to hire an additional 300 employees by June 2019, and will require more office space by 2019.
The Boston-based company currently employs 425 people, and the majority of the new hires will be based in that city.
The need for increased office space will be answered by moving DraftKing’s headquarters from South Station to Boston’s Back Bay neighbourhood early in 2019, where plans for new premises will double the present office space the company occupies.
