Marja Appelman, head of the Dutch gaming authority Kansspelautoriteit, has been elected for a two-year term to the board of the Gaming Regulators European Forum (GREF).
Appelman’s nomination, supported by both British and Danish regulators, allows the Kansspelautoriteit to strengthen trans-national cooperation, leading to “more effective monitoring of safe and reliable game offers in the Netherlands”, the authority said.
The forum is a collaboration between European regulators facilitating the exchange of challenges and solutions as well as discussions on current developments in the industry.
