Elk Studios score with sci-fans with latest online slot

Online gambling games developer ELK Studios is making an impact with its latest video slot, a five reel, 7,776 ways-to-win sci-fi themed game titled Kaiju.

Part of the appeal for sci-fi fans has been the intricate and highly imaginative theme supporting this multi-featured game, presented through cinematic style visuals and available on desktop and mobile devices.

Kaiju (meaning strange beast in Japanese) is a genre of films originally made in Japan in the 1950’s with massive creatures such as Godzilla. Between the years 1954 and 2017, 93 Kaiju movies were released. mostly produced in Japan, but the cult of Kaiju has proved popular globally among fantasy and sci-fi fans.

The game is set in a world where Earth has insufficient space to produce food, and humans are forced to trade the remaining gems and mineral and metal resources with other planets for food.

Here’s where it gets imaginative…the Kaiju of the title are monsters which grow gemstones on their hides, which irritate and make them ferocious. However, these are harvested by a superhuman female cyborg named HA-42, who hunts the Kaiju down and removes their heavy crystals and gems, enabling them to return to a harmless state of hibernation. The collected stones are used by humanity as a currency for trading.

Features include expanding wilds, a Kaiju Battle bonus round, Scatters, Multipliers and a vertical laser that delivers wilds on rows above the reels for enhanced wins.
