eSports firm Luckbox and Esports Entertainment Group are leveraging gambling industry experience in their latest hires.
Luckbox has appointed Frida Ericksson as director of operations leading the charge in responsible gambling, security, fraud prevention, verification, payments and customer support.
Ericksson, whose career started with Betsson Group in Malta, is a certified anti-money-laundering specialist. She joins the firm from Pinnacle where she served as compliance and payments processing manager.
Another key hire was Aleksandar Dimitrov earlier this month as the company’s first head of product – sportsbook. Dimitrov, whose previous roles included head of product at Lottotech and poker product manager at Playtech, will work closely with Luckbox’s development team in Plovdiv, Bulgaria.
Exclusively eSports focused online gambling firm Esports Entertainment Group (EEG) announced the appointment of Christopher Malone as chief financial officer. Malone joins the Antigua-based and licensed company as it closed its first successful financing round, a Private Placement in which $2.2 million was raised to accelerate growth plans.
Malone is the founding Director of PrOasis, a professional consulting firm. He has spent the past 26 years managing the company which focuses on executive management, corporate finance, strategic planning and governance for Canadian SME organisations.
