Live dealer gambling provider Evolution Gaming has started the new year with a notable achievement; the Riga-based company has signed up its one hundredth live dealer casino client, arguably making it the biggest supplier in a niche sector that is attracting increasing interest from online operators.
Evolution says the last year has been one of is “…unprecedented interest in Live Casino and, in particular, a sharp increase in demand from operators for dedicated, branded tables.”
To meet this demand, Evolution’s Riga-based head count has grown to almost 1,000. This includes design and development, customer support, chat moderators, surveillance and fraud teams, plus pit bosses and dealers serving international and localised Live Roulette, Blackjack, Baccarat and Casino Hold’em tables.
Of this number, well over 100 staff are part of the international team, with native speaking dealers for eight different languages. Several native speaking dealer tables are open to all Evolution licensees, while others are operated exclusively for specific licensees.
Svante Liljevall, Evolution’s COO, said this week: “We fully expect table and staff numbers to rise further as more and more operators choose to run their own dedicated tables out of our state-of-the-art studios.”
Liljevall believes that the demand for these tables, which enable customised branding and the use of dedicated native speaker dealers, is fuelled initially by customer service considerations, and then driven by results.
“Firstly, a dedicated table enables an operator to strengthen their brand online and to create unique offerings tailored to specific markets,” he says.
“Having taken that step, Evolution licensees typically see an immediate rise in player numbers, playing times and revenue. That’s as a direct result of localising their Live Casino and creating even stronger rapport between dealers and players. In many cases this leads to the operator opening further dedicated tables or a complete dedicated online environment.”
The company is expanding its training facility to provide regular training and assessments for both new and existing staff.
