The Malta studios of live dealer provider Evolution Gaming have commenced live-streaming casino action to the former Danish online gambling monopoly Danske Spil following an agreement signed earlier this year (see previous reports).
The roll-out of the new service Thursday featured live Roulette and Blackjack table action beamed from a dedicated Danske Spil section of Evolution’s Malta studios, suitably identified with branded tables and backdrops, and supported by Danish language dealer and chat services.
Although the new live dealer offering is initially accessible only on desktop, there are plans to make mobile versions available in the near future, according to an Evolution spokesman.
There are also plans to give Danish online punters access to additional multi-camera roulette, blackjack, casino hold’em and mini roulette games live-streamed from Evolution’s studios in Latvia
Commenting on the Malta-streamed roll-out, Danske Spil’s head of poker and games, Søren Schneider, said:
“Creating a dedicated environment within Evolution’s Malta studios has allowed us to strengthen our already market-leading brand online and be first to market with a 100 percent Danish Live Casino. Also, by tapping into Evolution’s Riga studio resources we have an immensely scalable service that can flex to meet demand.”
Fredrik Osterberg, chief commercial officer at Evolution, described the Danish installation as one of the largest integration projects his company has yet undertaken.
“Alongside the implementation of the dedicated studio we have also delivered additional software development to meet the precise needs of the client and the Danish regulator,” he said. “On top on that, we have sourced, recruited and trained a professional Danish speaking dealer team. The end result will be a world-class service for Danish speaking players on desktop, tablet and smartphone.”
