Games development studio, Evoplay, is set to bolster its presence in regulated jurisdictions thanks to its latest acquisition of an ISO Certificate 27701 for its privacy information management system.
Granted by Swiss Approval International, Evoplay underwent a rigorous inspection of its privacy management systems in its design, development, maintenance and technical support of games and software solutions for online gambling.
Pivotal for expanding its reach in various markets worldwide, the licence assures that a procedure is in place to protect personal data.
This new certificate sees that Evoplay’s privacy and security systems are compliable with global legislation such as European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Brazil’s General Data Protection Law (LGPD) and California’s California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
Issued on the 6th of February, the certificate is valid for one year and is a testament to the provider’s commitment to protecting personal information and aligning each process with optimal security levels.
Ivan Kravchuk, CEO at Evoplay said: “Obtaining ISO 27701 certification is our latest layer of protection to ensure the privacy and security within Evoplay and our interaction with other companies. As a top-level supplier, we want to showcase that we’ve protected every area of our business – from game development to contacting partners and employee work structures.
“The accreditation not only demonstrates our commitment to responsible data management and handling but also provides a competitive edge by assuring our partners that their privacy is of utmost importance to us.”
