Daily fantasy sports operator FanDuel, which is now additionally active in the UK market, has announced the inclusion on its roster of English Premier League action, with associated contests scheduled for roll-out next week.
The operator formerly offered major North American pro sports in leagues like the NFL, NBA, NHL and Major League Baseball.
The publication Legal Sports Report quotes CEO Nigel Eccles, who said in a statement:
“Our ultimate goal is for fans of all sports to experience what FanDuel has to offer. As we continue to enhance our core product, we look forward to giving the millions of U.S. soccer fans access to the same game day excitement that brings other sports fans to our platform.”
“FanDuel’s DFS contests will feature eight-man rosters (goalkeeper, two defensemen, three midfielders and two forwards) and a $60,000 salary cap,” according to the Legal Sports Report.
