Daily Fantasy Sports provider FanDuel has quickly followed its signing earlier this week of DFS partnerships with 15 NFL teams (see previous report) with a press release announcing that the Chicago Bears has also inked an agreement.
With the Washington Redskins deal earlier this year, this brings the total of US National Football League franchises associated with the DFS operator to 17.
FanDuel has also penetrated the boxing sector, announcing this week that it has signed a branding deal with Floyd Mayweather’s business team for a presence on the boxer’s trunks when he meets Manny Pacquiao in the ring on May 2.
The boxing deal includes six $10,000 tickets to the big fight, and these will be deployed as three prizes in Fanduel competitions, along with travel and hotel accommodation packages.
