GameLoot, a Las Vegas-based social gaming company, has developed a proprietary platform that provides casual sports fans with fantasy gaming without the time consuming hassle of traditional fantasy sports leagues.
“We’ve taken the best parts of fantasy sports and tailored it to today’s fast paced life,” said GameLoot CEO Jeremy Shea. “Casual fans who want to compete against their friends but don’t have the time or desire to analyze players and stats each week can experience the thrill of the win with our easy to play platform.”
Gameloot customers can participate in a variety of contests with the opportunity to win GameLoot’s virtual currency, Loot. Loot can also be bought with real dollars allowing added participation in special promo’s and entrance to additional contests.
The company provides a patent-pending Quick-Pick engine as well as a 2-Minute Drill option for players willing to have a quick flutter, which is understood to work as a fantasy sports meets lottery-style game.
According to a company statement GameLoot is headed up by managers with extensive experience in the interactive entertainment space who have developed and launched several (un-named) top tier games on Facebook.
GameLoot said it will extend its current offering into additional categories in the online social gaming market in the near future.
