FantasyDraft announces $1 million live DFS live event

Daily fantasy sports operator FantasyDraft stole the headlines from market leaders DraftKings and FanDuel this week by announcing its $1 million “Carolina Million” live event.
The event is based on a live competition during the fourteenth week of the National Football League season, and Charlotte-based FantasyDraft is planning to host the competition at the Bank of America Stadium in North Carolina.
In preliminary contests the company will whittle competitors down to twelve finalists, who will then be given a sponsored trip to the Charlotte venue for a weekend of sports, fun and live competition with a guaranteed prize pool of $1 million.
The winner of the DFS competition will take home $200,000 and the title of Carolina Million Champion.
The jollies include watching the Vikings vs. Panthers game from a VIP suite, 5-star hotel accommodation, flights from wherever they are in the US and return, and plenty of food, drinks and entertainment over the two days.
