Fisticuffs as an online slot theme?

American gambling moguls Frank and Lorenzo Fertitta, who own the Ultimate Fighting Championship franchise, have inked a deal with online slot games developer Endemol to produce a UFC-themed online slot for the UK market, reports Yahoo Sports.

The crossover from UFC to online gambling is not a huge leap for the duo, who own the Station Casinos land gambling group, and have lately been showing a growing appetite to enter the online gambling sector in the US, should Congress pass regulatory and licensing laws.

“Everybody wants to make money, but even more important than that, this is a great extension of our brand,” Lawrence Epstein, UFC executive vice president told Sports Business this week.
