Football DataCo in integrity agreement with Genius Sports and Perform Group

Official data rights holder of English and Scottish professional football leagues Football DataCo has agreed an integrity strategy with both Genius Sports and Perform Group.

The agreement, hailed as “ground-breaking”, is the first of its kind to see two sports data and technology competitors partner to protect the integrity of the sport in which British and Scottish professional league and cup competitions in England and Scotland will now benefit from two sophisticated bet monitoring systems.

A bespoke intelligence network, developed with the collaboration of all three parties, will monitor all odds movements across 14 different competitions in English and Scottish football including the core Premier League, EFL, and Scottish Professional Football League matches and also English and Scottish FA Cups and steps 1-4 in the English National League.

In addition, Genius Sports and Perform Group will work together to deliver a series of educational workshops aimed at providing players, officials and league and club executives with knowledge on how to identify and avoid the threat of match fixing.
