Former Sportingbet chief executive officer, Andrew McIver has joined the board of Chroma Group Ltd as a non-executive director.
The UK-based firm creates and maintains mobile, web and tablet applications for sports rights holders, media companies, brands, and bookmakers globally from its offices situated in London, Brighton and Sydney.
Under the terms of the independent role, McIver will oversee and advise Chroma’s executive strategy, financial organisation and international expansion.
Chroma has developed digital sports products for well known clients that include: Racecourse Media Group, News UK, William Hill, Sky Sports, News Australia, Coral, beIN Sports, The Jockey Club, Wimbledon, and Channel 4.
“Chroma’s innovation in the digital sports space in recent years has been exceptional,” McIver said. “Using my international experience I’ll help develop the company’s global strategy, which is already in rude health thanks to strong partnerships including News Australia, The Jockey Club, RMG and more.”
McIver spent seven years as chief executive officer of Sportingbet and facilitated the company’s sale to William Hill and GVC in 2013 .
