Four arrested in bust of US gambling ring in Indonesia

Indonesian national police cyber crimes raiding parties based in Bogor, West Java broke up an online poker gambling ring operated by US nationals this week, according to reports in the Jakarta Post.

National Police spokesman Brig. Gen. Boy Rafli Amar said that the suspects, identified only as MD, OM, RF and HD, were arrested Thursday and have been charged with operating poker online gambling through the websites nagaemas.com and jakarta.com and money laundering.

It is understood that the ring has been under investigation and surveillance since September.

The raiding party seized evidence during the raid, including ATM cards, laptops, books containing information on gambling activities and mobile phones.
