Four bids considered for Will Hill Australia

According to the Australian Financial Review (AFR) four bids had been received by the Citigroup’s Monday deadline for the acquisition of William Hill’s Australian operation, which is led by CEO Tom Waterhouse.

bet365, Sportsbet, Ladbrokes and Crownbet are speculated to be in the running with the winning bidder expected to be announced Friday this week.
Our readers will recall William Hill announced last month that it was putting its Australian operations under review, five years after it acquired and rebranded the business from Tom Waterhouse.
