UK sports fans without access to cable television services have a new channel for sports coverage following the launch of Front Runner, a free-to-air, dedicated sports television service that will be covering a wide range of sports, including ‘niche’ activity such as mountain biking, surfing, snowboarding, skateboarding and others.
Front Runner can be accessed on Freeview Channel 91, Sky Channel 468, or FreeSat Channel 250, and importantly will feature lots of poker action from some of the biggest and best competitions around.
In related news – and at the other end of the scale – Rush Street Gaming’s much publicised The Final Table poker television show (see previous report) started on the CBS Sports Network over the weekend with a slew of big poker names as commentators.
The show focuses on live US big money final tables, and if it is as good as Rush Street’s Poker Night in America, poker fans in the States are in for a real treat.
