Gambling busts in Thailand and Pakistan

Thai authorities have arrested 40 people suspected of illegal gambling during twenty-five weekend raids in the towns of Miri, Sibu, Limbang and Betong

Police seized cash and gambling items as well as mobile phones and computers, State CID Chief Senior Asst Comm Datuk Dev Kumar said.

In related news, Pakistan Police arrested 18 gamblers who were caught red-handed during a raid in Dhok Khokharan. The raid, which was based on a tip off, led to the confiscation of cash and other gambling related paraphenalia.
