Southern California-based software developer Gamblit Gaming has received preliminary approval from Nevada State gaming regulators following a hearing in Carson City last week.
The Nevada Gaming Commission recommended Gamblit Gaming and its associated companies for the award of three different manufacturer-type licences.
Our readers will recall Gamblit Gaming raising $12 million in financing earlier this year that would be used for the launch of its new online gambling software during 2014 (see previous report).
Gamblit reportedly previewed its gaming concepts to the NGC during the hearing, showcasing a scrabble type game combined with a slot machine.
Parent company Hard 8 Games, owned by American Capital and Gamblit have all received licence recommendations, a final decision will be delivered on June 19, 2014.
