Earlier this year online and land gambling group Paddy Power outlined its plans to expand into the Italian market, which it had been monitoring for some time . In a follow up deal this week GameAccount has announced that it has signed a multi-year renewal agreement that includes support for Paddy Power in its Italian ambitions.
GameAccount CEO Dermot Smurfit said of the agreement: “As one of the first gaming software suppliers to move into the Italian regulated gaming market in 2008 we have developed the specialist experience, expertise and technical functionality required to serve Italian operators from our hardware platform located in Italy.”
The two companies are no strangers to one another, having collaborated on various projects since 2004. The Italian development will see GameAccount provide Paddy Power with a wide range of casino games, including slots and mobile gaming apps developed specifically for Italy, from GameAccount’s Italian platform.
“GameAccount has developed a compelling portfolio of online skill, casino and mobile games along with aggregating third party gaming content with a focus on land-based casino games brought online,” said Giovanna D’Esposito, Paddy Power’s managing director of Italy.
GameAccount’s teamwork with the Australian games developer Aristocrat continues to bear fruit as the partnership builds on a 20+ gaming suite sold under the GameAccount Network Internet Gaming System brand.
