Rumours swirling around the industry Friday were that three senior execs with online gambling operator Gaming Media Group were moving on for as yet undisclosed reasons.
The three were named as chief executive officer and founder of GMG, Crispin Nieboer; chief operating officer Grant Williams; and financial director Shaun Barron.
In Nieboer’s case, a recent LinkedIn post indicates that he has joined William Hill plc as “Consultant, Corporate Development Office at William Hill.”
All three men are well educated and widely experienced in the online gambling industry.
Formerly known as Poker Holdings Ltd., GMG changed its name to Gaming Media Group Limited in May 2008. The company was founded in 2004 and is based in London.
Gaming Media Group combines online gaming operations across poker, casino and bingo, with one of Europe’s largest gaming media platforms. The company’s subsidiary businesses include PokerHeaven.com, CasinoJoy.com, BingoJoy.com, BlackjackHeaven.com, Mermaidbet.dk, Eastern European gaming affiliate Igrach.com and the Poker Channel.
It also operates a gaming television network that provides the Player Zone, a game-management tool that enables players to check their rake, playing activity, promotional status, and emails.
Last month the company contracted with SBTech for a mobile betting platform suitable for the regulated Danish market.
