UK-based Gaming Media Group (GMG) has selected systems and games developer Play’n GO to provide its e-gaming platform (EGP) for entry into the newly liberalised Danish online gambling market.
Play’n GO’s EGP will comprise a back-office administration kit that will form the foundation of GMG’s new gaming site. Gaming products from various suppliers covering poker, casino and sportsbetting – will all be integrated with the Play’n GO E-gaming Platform alongside Play’n GO’s own suite of Flash Casino games.
Martin Zettergren, vice president of products at Play’n GO said: “Our applications are vigorously tested for performance and reliability to live up to the stringent regulations imposed by the national gaming authorities in Europe and beyond.”
Gaming Media Group currently operates Poker Heaven.com, Danish poker brand Mermaid Poker.com, Casino Joy.com, Bingo Joy.com, Blackjack Heaven.com and the Poker Channel with Mermaid Bet.dk and Heaven Bet.com next to launch.
Sports Betting Tech will provide its fully managed sportsbetting solution to GMG going into the Danish market under the terms of a deal signed earlier this year .
Crispin Nieboer, chief executive officer of Gaming Media Group added, “The opening Danish Market is a tremendous opportunity for our group. We were naturally discerning in our choice to cooperate with Play’n GO. Their games are excellent; their back-office management tool efficient and adaptable; and they have a keen understanding of the tough requirements demanded of responsible gaming operators in regulated markets.”
