The Gauselman Group has acquired British gaming software firm Betcom Limited for an undisclosed consideration.
Gauselman sees the acquisition as a further important step for expansion in the British market saying its British subsidiary Blueprint Gaming will in particular benefit from Betcom’s development capabilities.
Betcom Limited designs and develops games predominantly for the British Category C segment however, Gauselmann Group sees other synergy effects and expansion possibilities following the acquisition.
“Betcom Limited opens up new perspectives for market development in Great Britain and beyond. Thus, a global network of 16 development teams is continually working on new content for gaming fun ‘made by Gauselmann’”, commented Jürgen Stühmeyer, Member of the Board of the Gauselmann Group.
Alastair Harris, managing director at Betcom added: “This is a great chance for Betcom to advance its own expansion and develop new market potential. I believe that this partnership will in the future offer enormous growth opportunities for the company”.
