The Spanish National Gambling Commission has further accredited GLI Europe to test and certify iGaming Platforms in Spain for prospective licence holders.
Joining accredited software certification companies Metrology & Gaming Limited NMI, Foundation for the Promotion of Industrial Innovation of the University of Madrid, and Spain Testlabs BMM, S.L.U. , the company has been authorised as an independent testing laboratory for both B2B iGaming platform suppliers and B2C online gaming operators.
GLI Europe, along with Metrology & Gaming Limited, NMI and Deloitte, S.L. is also authorised as an independent auditor of Information Security Systems (ISS).
Both certifications are required by the Spanish Gaming Authorities before iGaming operators are permitted to provide their services.
“We are thrilled to have obtained this accreditation,” said GLI Europe Managing Director Phillip Barow. “GLI will continue to be the world’s leading test laboratory for internet games and platforms, because there are three distinguishing factors that set GLI apart from all other labs: our bandwidth, technical expertise, and ability to save clients time to market and money through our testing results transfer system. We will use these advantages to take products previously approved for Italy, France, the AGCC and other highly regulated markets and quickly and inexpensively certify those same products for Spain.”
The company believes it is in a favourable position to “re-use work previously undertaken for the opening of the Italian and French markets and the AGCC”, providing a shorter turnaround time on already tight deadlines for prospective licence holders.
