Greece and The Netherlands added to eCOGRA’s jurisdictional offerings

The Hellenic Gambling Commission (HGC) is the latest online gambling regulator to grant a suitability license to eCOGRA which approves the organisation’s provision of testing, inspection and certification services in Greece. This followed a thorough review of eCOGRA’s professional staff, technical capabilities and experience by the Greek regulator.
Commenting on the accreditation, eCOGRA Chief Technical Officer Bradley Khoury said: “Although the effort to fulfil the HGC’s requirements for a certifying body was significant, we were comfortably able to achieve this based on our independence, technical capabilities and the depth and experience of our professional staff and resources. We are looking forward to working with both new and existing clients and the Greek regulator in this exciting jurisdiction”.
eCOGRA Chief Executive Officer Shaun McCallaghan added his company meets all accreditation requirements for online gambling conformity assessment work in the Netherlands and is already assisting several prospective license applicants and suppliers with their certification needs.
