Greentube, the NOVOMATIC Interactive division, has launched its market-leading slot portfolio with Estoril Sol’s online platform, strengthening the supplier’s foothold in Portugal.
The online casino operator has initially integrated Greentube’s top 30 performing games in the Portuguese market, including titles like Book of Ra™ deluxe, Lucky Lady’s Charm™ deluxe, Sizzling Hot™ deluxe and Lord of the Ocean™. More world-famous NOVOMATIC games that have proven popularity in the land-based sector are expected to be added to the roster soon, as well as a selection of Greentube’s innovative interactive content.
The launch is part of a deal with Belgium-based provider Gaming1, which supplies the casino platform supporting Estoril Sol’s online business. Integrating with Estoril Sol’s digital brand ESC Online, a locally renowned operator and the first licensed online casino site to go live when Portugal opened for business in 2016, reinforces Greentube’s strong position having quickly gained market share since launching operations in the country last year.
Michael Bauer, CGO and CFO at Greentube, said: “As a distinguished operator in the Portuguese market, launching with Estoril Sol’s online platform marks another significant step in our expansion strategy and adds another reputable brand to our local client portfolio. Thanks to the existing popularity of our top games in Portugal’s resort casinos, we have quickly established a vast player base in the online sector, which is shaping up to be a pillar of our European business.”
Rui Magalhães, CEO at Estoril Sol Digital , said: “Greentube offers a unique blend of both classic and innovative titles which capture a range of customer segments from traditional slot fans to modern players, making its portfolio the perfect match for our platform. As a casino that has a strong land-based heritage, Greentube’s collection of retail favourites will make an important addition to our online offering as we look to accelerate growth of our digital brand and offer our customers a premium interactive experience.”
