GTechG2, the Lottomatica subsidiary that develops internet gambling software and includes Boss Media, Dynamite Idea, Finsoft and St Minver, is one of the star performers in the second quarter 2010 results just released by the parent group.
First-half 2010 revenue contributions from GTech G2 were approximately Euro 36.7 million, up 6.5 percent versus the prior year.
Second-quarter revenue contributions were Euro18.4 million, up 7.4 percent over the same period last year.
Total wagers from the interactive segment totaled Euro 205.6 million, up 27 percent versus the first half of 2009.
Lottomatica management noted that G2 is working closely with World Lottery Association customers to develop and execute interactive platforms in several jurisdictions across the globe.
Special mention was made of G2’s work with provincial governments in Canada, where its online poker platform will be shared by the British Columbia Lottery Corporation and the Atlantic Lottery Corporation .
The Lottomatica group as a whole reported total revenues of Euro 574.5 million for the second quarter of 2010, an increase of 11 percent over the same period last year.
