High hopes for Spanish online gambling market

A study completed by Casinoenlinea.es says that the forthcoming regulation and licensing of online gambling will have significant benefits for Spain.
In 2012 alone, the new dispensation will lead to extra tax and licence income of Euro137.5 million, and a boost to employment figures that could be as big as 120 000 employment opportunities.
According to official AEDAPI numbers, in 2010 there were more than 370,000 online gamblers in Spain – an increase of 33 percent compared with 2009, the survey reports.
