Horne appointed CEO at S.G. Gaming

Phil Horne, an online gambling industry veteran with previous management experience at Gala Coral, has been tapped for the CEO post at SG Gaming, the retail and online games development subsidiary of Scientific Games.

Horne, who is currently m.d. of the subsidiary, will take up his new responsibilities on the retirement of incumbent Steve Frater at the end of March this year.

“I am very proud to now be leading SG Gaming through to the next phase of growth and ensuring our customers continue to benefit from one of the industry’s leading gaming solutions packages,” Horne said this week. “It has been a privilege working with Steve; he is truly an industry innovator and will be greatly missed at SG Gaming.”
