Instacasino has announced that it has bought the Chance Hill online casino from the owners of sister site Ikubu for an undisclosed consideration.
The deal has been the topic of much discussion on the forums in the absence of a proper corporate statement, which now makes the agreement official, advising that Chance Hill’s website, database and assets have already been transferred to InstaCasino.
Instacasino’s chief executrive, Allan Bjerkan, says in the statement that the acquisition agreement represents a “crucial moment” in his company’s history, and that Chance Hill is a good fit with the Instacasino growth strategy.
“We already had the resources needed to take on a project like this, and given that Chance Hill is on the same platform as InstaCasino, we believe it will be a very smooth transition for us,” Bjerkan said.
“This will boost our visibility in the UK, which is a regulated market where we are looking for a bigger market share; we have already started improving the site, and players can expect to see many improvements. In the next weeks, the number of games on the site will double to more than 1,000 games on desktop and 500 games on mobile.
“On top of this, we will be improving the sites functionality and the speed of the website, while removing existing bugs. Over a slightly longer timeframe we are looking to add a sportsbook to Chance Hill, which we believe will complement the brand perfectly.”
