The William Hill plc land and online gambling group has selected the Creature advertising agency to handle its GBP 15 million account after studying various proposals in a competitive marketing pitch in which the group’s incumbent agency, Fabula, declined to participate.
The marketing publication CampaignLive reports that the gambling group called the review in November last year, but Fabula, which handled the sports book business, declined to re-pitch, as did Beattie McGuinness Bungay, which worked on the gambling account.
William Hill’s media planning and buying account, which is held by Vizeum, is not affected.
Founded in 2002, Creature is headquartered in Seattle, USA but has London offices. Its client list includes major companies and brands like Truvia, Dickies, Carling Beer, Adidas, and moo.com.
