Kenneth Lovett, a 73-year-old Joplin, Missouri man who pleaded guilty in May this year to running an online sports gambling operation has been sentenced to six months home detention by a federal court in Springfield.

The Joplin Globe reports that Lovett also pulled two years on probation to run concurrently with his home confinement, and is forbidden to gamble or enter any gambling establishments for the length of his probation.

Lovett and fellow defendant William Lisle were charged in a 16-count indictment returned by a federal grand jury in February 2012. Lisle has yet to be sentenced after pleading guilty in July to money laundering and transmitting wagering information online.
