Intertain group mulling CAD$1 billion acquisition

The Intertain Group revealed today (Tuesday) it is in advanced discussions regarding a significant acquisition of certain assets of an unnamed third party, who the rumour mill speculates may be the Gamesys Group founded by Noel Haydn.

Should the acquisition prove successful, as it’s still subject to the finalisation of definitive documentation and approval of the boards of directors of both companies, the consideration would be in the range of CAD$1Billion.

Intertain recently acquired the Vera&John online casino operation for $126 million, prior to which it snapped up Mandalay Media for $82.4 million in July 2014 (see previous  reports).
