Malta-based online sports betting firm Interwetten has signs a long-term sponsorship and official betting partner agreement with German Bundesliga team TSG Hoffenheim.
The deal runs until 2020 and assures Interwetten of premium betting partner status and brand exposure on team strip and in the club’s 30,000 capacity Rhein-Neckar-Arena.
Interwetten will also enjoy access to the club’s social media network, television and advertising channels.
Founded in 1990 as a sports betting provider, Interwetten was among the first companies to offer online sports betting in 1997.
In a statement announcing the deal Werner Becher, spokesperson for the Interwetten Board of Directors said:
“TSG Hoffenheim is an extremely attractive partner for us, not only because of the development of the club into one of the top players in Germany and the consequent first Europapokal participation in this season, but due to its potential following a fourth placing in last year’s Bundesliga.
TSG Hoffenheim is the German flagship in the sponsoring pool for Interwetten and guarantees excellent brand awareness thanks to a comprehensive sponsoring package with a large brand presence for Interwetten.”
