Intrinsic Equity invest in Storm Gaming

Orbis Partners investment vehicle Intrinsic Equity has invested an undisclosed sum in omni-channel game and platform developer Storm Gaming Technology (SGT).

Under the terms of the deal, Intrinsic Equity principal and Orbis Partners senior partner, James Grenfell, will join the SGT Board to assist the company “deliver their ambitious strategic plan”.

Group ownership in the Shropshire-based company comprises Storm Gaming founder, Richard Sheldon; founding director of Games Media, Steve Murray; and online sportsbetting pioneer and founder of Sportingbet plc, Mark Blandford’s Rockridge Investments.

“We have invested in Storm at an exciting time and look forward to helping Richard and Steve accelerate their plans as a global provider of multi-platform compelling games content,” Grenfell commented in a press statement.
