Media Live Casino.com, the Malta-based provider of live dealer casino action over the internet, has announced that it is to provide a range of games to the Italian online poker operator Italy Poker.it when the market in that country is opened to casino gaming.
The Italian site operates under a licence granted by Italian regulator AAMS, which is expected to widen the range of permissible gambling to embrace casino activity sometime between October 2010 and January 2011.
In preparation for the changes, Media Live is currently undergoing certification by an independent international organisation in addition to its certification from the Malta regulator LGA.
“Italypoker is nowadays one of the best known poker rooms in Italy thanks to the quality and reliability of the services it provides,” a statement from the company asserted this week. “The new live games offered by Medialivecasino undoubtedly will make it Italy’s reference company for all those players who are looking for an exciting and constantly advanced gaming environment.”
Angelo De Gobbi, sales and marketing manager at Medialivecasino, said: “It is a great opportunity for our company to enter a market so interesting as the Italian one and we would like to thank Italypoker since they have immediately understood the future potential of games with live dealers in this market. I am confident that soon other licensees will integrate our services, thanks to the quality of our offer and the fact that our dealers speak Italian.“
