Jörgen Nordlund, the co-founder of Vera&John who joined Intertain (now Jackpot Joy) online gambling group after it acquired V&J in 2014 for Euro 81 million, has resigned in what appears to be an amicable split.
His resignation comes a year after he was appointed to the board as a non-executive director, and he has relinquished his directorship and all other board and consulting positions in the company.
Jackpot Joy chairman Neil Goulden acknowledged Nordlund’s contribution to the company in a statement Monday, saying:
“As a co-founder of Vera&John, Jörgen has played a significant role in the creation of Jackpotjoy group. On behalf of the Board, I would like to express our thanks to him both for his contribution to the business over the previous three years and in particular, to our successful listing in London.”
