The Jamaican authorities’ war on lottery scammers continued over the weekend with the arrest of 10 fraudsters during a police operation in Browns Town.
Raiding parties from the Lottery Scam Task Force seized computers and documentary evidence from several private homes, a police spokesman told the Associated Press news agency Sunday.
Jamaica has become notorious as the home of lottery scam artists who target the gullible and elderly, usually in America, informing them that they have won big prizes but must send money in oder to claim them.
