Jawfish extends its social gaming facilities

Jawfish Games, a social gaming company, has launched a new real-time, multiplayer tournament service that will work across all platforms, the publication TNW reports.

Using the facility, gamers and punters can compete against friends and strangers on iOS, Android, and the Web. The service will launch with two of the company’s top games: Jawfish Poker and Jawfish Words.

The company recently debuted the platform and received an award for it at the LAUNCH Festival.

Jawfish Poker in tournament mode enables players to go into action against other players in a virtual setting not dissimilar to the World Series of Poker.

The Jawfish platform is built for mobile and works not only on iOS devices, but also Facebook simultaneously.

CEO Phil Gordon, says that more real-time competitive game offerings will be launched soon.
