The Kahnawake Gaming Commission (KGC) and the Jersey Gambling Commission (JGC) have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) that covers arrangements for the acquisition, exchange, handling, protection and use of information.
“This is a welcome development – it’s increasingly important for gambling regulators to work together, not just to share best practice, but in a practical sense,” said Dr Jason Lane, chief executive for the JGC.
“We are convinced that it benefits both players and the online gaming industry to enhance the level of cooperation between and among online gaming regulators and to this end, we are very pleased to have formalized a relationship of mutual cooperation with the Jersey Gambling Commission”, added Mark Jocks, Chairperson of the KGC.
