Kama Games, the Dublin-based social poker operator, claimed Monday that its global player base now exceeds 100 million players, making flagship product Pokerist one of the most popular social games in the world.
Having started the year with 95 million players, Kama has managed to successfully grow its audience by 5 million players in one quarter, and attributes its success to continued product innovation, the targeting of a wider, more casual audience with the launch of Pokerist Party mode features and the new slot games.
Another key area of focus was player retention and engagement, where players are provided with a range of new daily content, game modes, themed events and tournaments, features and in some cases, completely new games.
Kama has embarked on a string of successful collaborations in 2017 with companies such as Facebook, Yoozoo and Poker Night in America, which all continue to attract new players to a portfolio of social casino titles.
Andrey Kuznetsov, CEO of KamaGames, said in a company statement Monday:
“This vast international audience is a clear reflection of the hard work from every member of the KamaGames team. From development, to marketing, to user acquisition and everyone in between, I am immensely proud of what we have achieved as a company. I’m also grateful to all of our players, who helped make Pokerist one of the most fun and engaging multiplayer experience any gamer can have.”
