Kansspelautoriteit to launch tote license tender

Dutch gambling authority Kansspelautoriteit will launch a digital tender for an exclusive 5-year horse racing and harness racing Totalizator Betting license on November 29, 2016.

The process will be assessed in two phases, the first of which will be based on receipt of set criteria communicated by the Authority who will then determine whether interested parties qualify to proceed under a “knockout” assessment procedure.

During the second phase, qualifying parties will be required to indicate how they intend implementing the totalizator license along with satisfying further criteria set by Kansspelautoriteit.
