Asia Gaming Technologies (Beijing) Co., Ltd (AGT), a joint venture between bookmaker Ladbrokes and Hong-Kong based lottery services provider AGTech, has launched its first product to the Chinese market in cooperation with the Hunan Sports Lottery.
The “Lucky Racing Game”, a sports-themed electronic random number generated lottery game where customers can choose to wager on a virtual car race between 12 cars over two laps of an oval track, was approved by the PRC lottery regulator (Ministry of Finance of the PRC) earlier this year .
The platform and game were developed by AGT in association with interactive betting and gaming specialists OpenBet and sister company Inspired Gaming.
Adam Greenblatt, Director of Corporate and Strategic Development, Ladbrokes said: “This is a small but positive step in a key gambling market. We are pleased to have launched our first product – the result of many years of relationship building in China.”
David Loveday, CEO of OpenBet, added: “This is yet another project that demonstrates how OpenBet works in partnership with its customers and other providers to deliver an all round successful sportsbook solution.
“Lottery businesses are at the forefront of what we do and where we are going as a business and being able to bring our product to China, with Inspired Gaming and Ladbrokes, is very exciting for OpenBet and marks yet another milestone in our international expansion and expertise.”
