Ladbrokes inks football sponsorship deal Downunder

The land and online gambling group Ladbrokes has strengthened its Australian presence by signing a one-year sponsorship agreement with the A-League football club Brisbane Roar.

The deal gives Ladbrokes signage privileges at the Suncorp Stadium.

Ladbrokes marketing director James Burnett said Wednesday that football was an important element in the Ladbrokes business plan, and that the agreement will strengthen its Australian footprint.
