Following industry speculation, UK Bookmaker Ladbrokes has presented a new cross-channel, centralised structure in the re-organisation of its senior management.
Ladbrokes confirmed that it will move forward in three operational groups; Customer experience, Channels and Products – each lead by an existing director .
Customer Experience will be led by Stephen Vowles and will be responsible for all aspects in relation to customer acquisition, retention and yield strategies across all channels.
Nick Rust will drive the Channel proposition to customers – continuing his current focus on retail and machines, but also taking on responsibility for the delivery to the customer of the Ladbrokes Digital proposition, including mobile.
Richard Ames will lead the Products group which is responsible for the delivery of efficient solutions to support the Ladbrokes business, including IT and data centralisation, trading systems and margin management.
Newly appointed chief financial officer, Ian Bull, will additionally carry the responsibility for M&A and International Development whilst Andrew Harley will remain as Group HR Director.
Gary Mcilraith will leave the company on 30th June 2011.
Richard Glynn, chief executive officer, Ladbrokes said: “There has been extensive change at Ladbrokes during the last year as we have implemented our strategy. This reorganisation of our senior management is the natural conclusion of these changes and will enable us to have one view of the Ladbrokes customer and how they interact with us through each of our channels – retail, telephone, mobile or Internet. As one of the leading multi-channel operators this will enable us to play to our strengths and deliver a clear, consistent proposition to all our customers.”
