Ladbrokes finds replacement trading director

Ladbrokes has appointed a replacement for Jon Thompson, the group trading director who was dismissed earlier this year.

Replacement Andy Wright has experience going back well over a decade with major gambling companies like Betclic Everest, Stan James, Blue Square, Spreadex and UK Betting, and will report directly to Ladbrokes CEO Richard Glynn.

Assisting him as trading strategy director will be Oddschecker founder Tony Robinson, who also joins Ladbrokes and has worked with Wright before.
