Online bookmaker Ladbrokes has struck a five-year deal with Alice Springs Turf Club (ASTC) in Australia’s Northern Territory.
Under the terms of the deal, the iconic Pioneer Park racecourse has been renamed Ladbrokes Pioneer Park, “showcasing the support of the wagering company whilst also upholding the traditions of the region,” ASTC said.
“The Alice Springs Turf Club and its members are very proud of the history and legacy of racing at Pioneer Park so it was vitally important to have a respected brand and long term deal for naming rights,” Alice Springs Turf Club chief executive officer, Jason Cornell added.
This is Ladbrokes second significant partnership with Northern Territory Racing following the signing of a key partnership with the Darwin Turf Club in 2016.
