The future plans of soon-to-be-former Las Vegas Sands Bethlehem CEO, Robert DeSalvio, are no longer a mystery following reports in US media Friday that he has joined the Wynn Resorts group and will be involved in trying to secure casino rights in Massachusetts.
DeSalvio’s surprise resignation on the heels of a serious hack into the Sands Bethlehem and other corporate websites of the group last week had industry observers speculating on both his departure and destination (see previous reports.)
DeSalvio’s resignation takes effect March 15, and he will take up his Wynn responsibilities immediately, it is understood.
