Late Ohio move to legalise daily fantasy sports

A last minute attempt to ensure that daily fantasy sports is protected as a legal activity in the state of Ohio was launched last week as the state legislature prepared for the end-of-year adjournment.

Bill SB 375 was introduced by State Senator Dave Burke and proposes that DSF is permitted to operate subject to compliance with normal gambling rules established under the control of the Ohio Casino Control Commission.
